After spending over twenty five years in the health and fitness club industry and twenty years in promotion you tend to learn a lot about people and their personalities and training habits. My shows brought me ten lifetimes of knowledge with many of the super fit and cover models I have met and worked with. The shared ideas with these icons are worth there weight in gold.
As a Health Club manager with over five thousand client’s personal training has become the buzz word World Wide. It is a multi million dollar industry with no end in sight. All though I am certified with the Professional Trainers Association Inc, please know that I spent decades in gyms, health clubs at seminars and track and field perfecting my craft.
Choose your trainer wisely:
Unfortunately, you need to choose your trainer wisely. Many trainers who have come out of the quick schools of certifications are babes in the woods when it comes to dealing a diversified school of thought and knowledge. In the 50-70’s Coaches trained athletes for all the chosen sports to better there ability. Some even discouraged athletes from using weights in there training programs. Today Coaches use applied sciences taken from every sport, bodybuilding and fitness of proven strength and speed methods to put the athletes in the winner circle. Many coaches and certification nuts don’t a clue when it comes how to get a female or male ready for a magazine cover shoot or get in excellent shape to compete. The same applies for many top trainers; they I don’t know how to work with top professional sprinters or track and field athletes. Choose a trainer who knows his or her stuff. Demand to see pictures and letters from former clients.
I don’t want to get into the hundreds of different techniques there are so lets not. In a nutshell, choose a trainer with a track record, pictures and letters from past clients to back up his or her claims to get you in shape. Symmetry and balance is the key word. Run a way if you talk to a trainer with a tummy larger than yours. Figure Quest bodies can be achieved at nearly and age with good diets, rest, cardio exercise and resistance training. Never give up and you could achieve the body of your dreams.
